Ok, so I’ll agree that it has taken me a bit to get the page up on Facebook but with a fresh new year ahead of us it seemed like the perfect time to get it going!

Mahalo to everyone who has supported us along the way. We have been so blessed to be given this opportunity to share with the keiki through live theater. We seriously have to pinch ourselves to make sure we’re not dreaming!

This year has big things in store. Not only are a couple new plays in the works at this time, but we are working on expanding our enrichment program with acting classes for the kids!

And don’t forget, if you have a special event coming up and would like to add some theater fun to your event, give us a call and we can create something exciting and fun just for you!

Queen Ka’ahumanu Center Performance

On Saturday June 6th we did a free performance of Farlington Rabbit on the Queen Ka’ahumanu center stage. It was amazing. A big mahalo to Tom, Cyndi and Max for a great show and for surviving the heat! I think backstage was the only spot in the whole center with the sun blaring down. Heart Tours Says…”Happy Birthday Johnny”!

We just want to give a big shout out to one of our amazing team members on his birthday!

And just as a testament to how amazing he is and how much we appreciate him…

Today we had a Crossroads show scheduled at one of the wonderful elementary schools here on Maui. We were all really excited to go and do a show for the first grade classes there!

Unfortunately John hasn’t been feeling well all week and after a show yesterday in Kula, he really wasn’t feeling to good for the show today. Long story short, he really pulled through! It took every ounce of his energy to do it and even though we thought we might have lost him a couple of times, he did it! And together with Tom, they put on a fantastic show for the kids.

Thanks for sticking in there John…and like I always say, we couldn’t do it with out you!

And that goes for all our team members. We really couldn’t do it without any of you. Thank you for helping us reach the keiki of Hawaii and sharing the arts.

on the Great Lawn of the Maui Community Collage

Come for the fun and all the free stuff!

This family-friendly event promises lots of fun,
and almost everything is free!
There will be free entertainment and a Keiki Zone with games, prizes and jumping castles!

The Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle is proud to coordinate this event with HAEYC (Hawaii Association for the Education of Young Children) Maui Chapter, 4-H Organization of Maui, and the Neighborhood Place of Wailuku.

We’ve been doing some rearranging on the website and have moved our audio files. Now you can get a picture show while you hear a sample soundtrack of our children’s musical Farlington Rabbit.

A Farlington Rabbit CD with the full cast singing is in the works. But for now, this is the original version sung by Patrick Brown with hints of Tom Althouse in the background.
